The Monkey Den welcome starts here. This kids club entrance is built around a custom curved reception desk with a fluted green front and marble top, set under a wavy wood slat ceiling hung with trailing vines. A birch tree branch reaches across one wall, and hand-drawn monkeys climb through a jungle mural beside it.

Round porthole windows at kid height let children peek into the play rooms while parents check in. A glowing green hill and two soft ottomans make a spot to sit and wait. Every piece of custom millwork, from the desk to the ceiling slats, was built in our Ontario shop. The Reception is one of five spaces in our hotel and resort kids club design for Sandy Lane in Barbados.
