Adventure Alley

Fern Studio collaborated with interior designer Jordana Leventhal to design and build Adventure Alley — a custom indoor play structure installation in Ontario anchored by a 16-foot hand-crafted wood climbing tree with an elevated loft and integrated slide. The tree is the spatial centrepiece: a site-specific custom fabrication built from solid hardwood and Baltic birch, designed to read as a natural architectural element.

Surrounding the tree structure, children engage with a custom pegboard wall, interactive busy boards, and a kinetic sand table — each purpose-built to support sensory play, hands-on discovery, and imaginative exploration. Custom tables and chairs fabricated by Fern Studio complete the environment, carrying the same natural warmth and commercial durability throughout.
